TR 5018MS Tochline

Rockwell Hardness Tester

The Rockwell hardness gage TR 5018MS is designed to measure the hardness of metals and alloys according to the Rockwell method in accordance with GOST 9013-59.

The TR 501MS hardness tester is a stationary measuring instrument consisting of a load application system and a measuring unit.
The principle of operation of the hardness tester is based on the static indentation of a diamond or ball tip into a sample with subsequent measurement of the penetration depth of the tip. When measured by the Rockwell method, the load application system provides the application of the preload and the three main loads. The loading system is mounted in the device body, the loads are isolated from the possibility of dust and dirt. The device is non-volatile, does not require electrical power.

The TR 5018MS hardness tester is equipped with a dial measuring scale designed to control the preload and display the results of hardness measurements.
