PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION: Automatic hardness measurement mode. The hardness scale and the corresponding test load are selected in the menu of the electronic digital block (CB). The preload is set automatically, the test process is shown on the display. Setting the preliminary and main loads, holding and removing loads, displaying the result on the display occurs automatically.
The device is equipped with a high-precision strain gauge. The electromechanical system provides a smooth application of the main load, endurance for a given time and load removal.

The lowest division price (discreteness of the report) of a digital electronic unit, when measuring hardness according to the Rockwell method, is not more than 0.1 units of hardness, which corresponds to a tip movement of 0.0002 mm.
