UT 5021 PA Tochline
Universal hardness tester
Universal hardness tester UT 5021 PA is designed to measure the hardness of metals and alloys according to the methods of Rockwell, Brinell and Vickers.
The UT 5021 PA hardness tester is a stationary measuring instrument consisting of a load application system and a measuring unit.
The principle of operation of the hardness tester is based:
• for Vickers scales - on the static indentation of a diamond pyramidal tip with subsequent measurement of the lengths of the diagonals of the restored fingerprint;
• Rockwell scales - on the static indentation of diamond or ball tips with subsequent measurement of the penetration depth of the tip;
• for Brinell scales - on the static indentation of a carbide ball tip with subsequent measurement of the diameter of the circumference of the restored fingerprint.
The hardness tester has a digital indicator in the form of a liquid crystal display, contains a microprocessor.
When measured by the Rockwell method, the instrument load application system provides 588.4 load application; 980.7; 1471 N
Rockwell measurements take place automatically.
When measured according to the Vickers method, the device load application system provides 49.0 load application; 98.0; 196; 294; 392.3; 490; 588.4; 7845; 980; 1177 N
When measured by the Brinell method, the application system of the load of devices provides the application of loads of 49.0; 61.5; 98.0; 153.2; 196; 294; 306.5; 392; 613; 981; 1176; 1226; 1839 N.
The design of the hardness tester should be reliably protected from unauthorized access, adjustment of factory settings and software.
The UT 5021 PA hardness gage is equipped with a high-precision strain gauge sensor.
